Retail Assistant Manager

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to help oversee the efficiency of our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for customers in store and providing training & support to our team while working collaboratively with the business team. Behind the scenes, the Retail Assistant Manager will oversee the daily retail operations and be actively involved with building our sales team and providing them with the guidance and training necessary to provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities and duties:
• Manage sales floor to ensure customers are being served to maximize sales.
• Training and development of the team. Also involved in identifying any recruitments needs in advance and planning accordingly.
• Responsible for rostering in conjunction with Retail Director.
• Assist sales team and customers with service issues when necessary.
• Ensuring floor staff are adhering to our procedures and policies. Covering everything from:

  1. Sales lists
  2. Payments
  3. Basic Housekeeping & VM Guidelines
  4. GDPR

• Oversee behind the scenes areas such as goods in/out, stockroom and offices.
• Ensure Visual Merchandisers get necessary support and resources to carry out their roles.
• Branch Communication.
• Point of contact for other departments to get tasks completed within the store.

• Minimum five years retail experience.
• Management experience in a Big Box retailer.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
• A passion for excellent customer service.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

Interior Designer: Limerick

Due to the success of our Interior Design Department we are looking to build our team by adding an experienced Interior Designer.
Our designers manage projects from start to finish under the direction of our leading designer. This collaborative environment and extreme attention to detail is what pushes Caseys designs to the next level and being open to direction is a must. We expect our designers to be up to date with the latest finishes and furnishings as well as what’s trending in the industry, so we can stay ahead of the curve!

Attention to detail and organisational skills are absolutely necessary for this position. A good designer doesn’t just know how to pick throw pillows (although you definitely need to know how to do that!), they also know how to be extremely accurate in measurements and details. Each designer manages multiple projects nationwide and it is their responsibility to ensure the process runs smoothly. You will create, manage and implement every step of client projects - sourcing products and materials, communicating with vendors and contractors, creating mood boards and design boards, problem solving and project installations. We have a very fast-paced environment and expect a very high level of work from our team.

You will meet with clients, talk with vendors and contractors, sometimes collaborate as a team and coordinate with various members of the team to make everything come together. We have a positive work environment where we work hard and get things done.

5+ years of professional interior design experience
Efficient with Adobe Photoshop,Sketch Up,Revit and AutoCAD
Ability to develop detailed plans and 3-D modelling

Visual Merchandiser Part-time in Limerick

We’re looking for a Part-Time Visual Merchandiser based in our Limerick Store.

(The position is 3 days per week)

Someone who knows interiors and has worked in a similar role before. We look for artistic flair.

Sharing your enthusiasm for producing visual theatre, aimed at promoting our products, you’ll feed into the Marketing team too - helping to enhance sales, profit and the entire customer experience.

  • A minimum of 2 years of visual display merchandising experience.
  • Very strong visual merchandising skills & a keen eye for detail and creativity.
  • Relevant Education or Degree in Interior Design is preferable.
  • Motivated team player, with a flexible, detail-oriented and positive work approach.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with good analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge and a keen interest in design, architecture and new product and interiors trends.


  • Merchandising instore - creating a WOW customer experience
  • Creating new, inspiring and engaging visuals in both stores
  • Drive in-store promotions and ensure they are executed consistently.
  • Constant review of POS instore and being aware of competitor’s activity- planning visits to competitors at home and abroad to keep in touch with trends and standards.
  • Obtain accessories to fit with current styles and trends while constructing displays to include: painting, wiring, design, layout, etc.
  • Actively optimize lighting to display merchandise to reflect current style/trends as well as showcasing the presentations to maximize customer engagement.
  • Arrange ticketing and signage to enhance presentation of merchandise while reflecting advertising, promotional opportunities, and customer engagement.
  • Set-up, maintain and remove displays based on store objectives and advertising trends.
  • Ensure all windows are presented to a high standards including room dressing and positioning, lighting direction, cleanliness, steaming and price communication (if applicable)
  • Making decisions and finding solutions to tasks that fit logistically and aesthetically.
  • Additional assistance in other areas of stock control and management and photo shoots as required.
  • Frequent consultations with the marketing team, sales team regarding product presentation.
  • Hands-on help for our store managers and sales staff responsible for showrooms.
  • Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with key suppliers and company contacts.
  • To be successful as part of our Visual Merchandising team you should also have the ability to demonstrate a professional and calm demeanour in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Delivery Drivers 

Role Overview: Caseys Furniture is one of Irelands best known furniture retailer and enjoys a reputation of excellent quality and service to customers. It has now moved to a new warehouse and requires good people for its further expansion of services. This position in a 2 person team is based for deliveries from our new warehouse based in Pouladuff in Cork. This exciting and busy environment requires lifting and moving of furniture therefore manual handling is required. A full physical medical examination is carried out for all successful candidates prior to appointment.


• Loading delivery trucks.
• Ringing customers to arrange delivery.
• Delivery to and assembly of Furniture in customers’ houses.
• Reporting of any issues to the Customer Service department.
• Carry out daily truck inspections and reporting of any defects.
